Cheltenham Festival 2018 When, How to Watch and Odds

When? A four day event taking place between Thursday the 13th and Sunday 16th of March 2018.

How to watch? Live through ITV Racing

Dress code is more relaxed than the Royal Ascot.

The Cheltenham Festival is one of UK’s top three horse racing events, just a few weeks before the grandest race of all, the Grand National. The event began in 1860 at the Cheltenham Racecourse in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

It features several Grade I races including the highlight of the event, the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Other top races include the Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase and World Hurdle.

Cheltenham is famous for its festive atmosphere, most notably for the “Cheltenham Roar”, which refers to the crowds cheers just before the first race of the festival begins.
